Your Role
We're looking for a marketing-minded creative strategist who is a pioneer in using AI to execute high performing ads at a fast pace and greater scale. You're both performance-driven (comfortable digging into Meta analytics, forming insights from performance, etc.) and passionate about developing best-in-class ideas.
We seek an expert in paid digital advertising who's energized to ideate and produce ads that perform and convert. As an AI Creative Strategist, you'll shape O Positiv's performance marketing across digital channels - bringing sharp creative instincts with an AI-informed approach to get great ads made.
Our ideal candidate blends creative and analytical skills – following ad trends, generating innovative ideas, and making data-driven decisions. Importantly, you're someone who's embraced AI tools as a natural part of your creative process: using them to script, concept, generate, and iterate faster without losing the human insight that makes creative actually land.
You'll report to the Director of Creative Performance and collaborate with fellow Creative Strategists, designers, copywriters and marketing leaders.
Who You Are
- A strategic operator who is excited about the intersection of creative ideas, performance marketing and AI tools. You'll use AI tools to bring to life high-performing ad ideas at a faster and greater scale
- Data & insights expert, eager to analyze ad performance across paid media and use those insights to sharpen both your creative briefs and AI-assisted workflows
- Hands-on with generative AI tools, i.e. being an expert at using Claude for ideation, design & scripting, VEO 3 for video generation, Nano Banana Pro for image concepts, and CapCut for editing
- Process oriented, able to maintain large-scale ad production processes with ease to ensure quick and timely execution.
- A strong collaborative spirit who invests in building strong relationships - working closely with designers, copywriters, other strategists to both brief ideas and onboard new AI tools and workflows that can make the whole team function better
- An AI-innovator who stays ahead of trends in both advertising and AI, and is excited to implement out-of-the-box strategies
What You'll Do
- Pitch winning ideas using a strong understanding of the media landscape, ad performance, and develop them into creative strategies implemented across various channels
- Use AI tools including Claude, VEO 3, Nano Banana Pro, and CapCut as part of your day-to-day production process to concept, script, generate, and edit performance creative
- Translate creative concepts into detailed briefs and deliver to design, video, and email teams
- Facilitate creative ideation and encourage others to contribute winning ideas
- Oversee high volumes of ads and creative assets ensuring everything is delivered on time, reviewed, and approved in an organized manner
- Serve as an advocate for consistent brand voice across all channels, whether content is AI-assisted or traditionally produced
- Collaborate with acquisition, retention, and cross-channel leaders to align creative strategies with new product launches and maintaining performance of existing products
- Analyze performance data and feed learnings back into creative strategy and production approach
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of direct response DTC eCommerce marketing experience preferred
- Genuine comfort and experience with AI tools as part of a creative production workflow: familiarity with tools like Claude, VEO 3, or image generation platforms is a requirement.
- Adaptable to new social platforms, AI, and advertising technologies
- Experience with pre-production including scripting and planning
- Impact-oriented and strong project management skills, with a track record of excellent results in a fast-growth environment and a strong bias for action
- Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret ad performance data and synthesize into actionable strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to listen and lead with empathy, with a willingness to learn
- Amazon and Retail experience is a bonus
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Hours and Compensation
This is a full-time, salaried position. The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $110,000 - $125,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote).
