You train teams and deploy AI tools across departments — heavy on teaching non-technical staff, light on engineering or building core AI.
Moonshot builds the power infrastructure that makes AI possible. Our equipment goes into the largest AI datacenter deployments in the country, powering the models behind ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Now we are turning that same technology inward to become the premier adopter of AI in manufacturing. As AI Adoption Specialist, you are the person who makes that real for every team in the building. You sit with teams, understand their workflows, identify where AI creates leverage, and deploy the tools that make it happen. You train people, build automations, and measure whether what you rolled out actually sticks. This role works across every department and is hands-on by design.
1. Hands-On Deployment: Implement AI tools and automations across the organization. This includes configuring platforms, building integrations, setting up workflows, and getting tools into people's hands. You are not writing whitepapers about AI - you are making it work.
2. Training and Enablement: Level up the entire organization on AI, from the basics to the advanced. That means teaching someone in purchasing how to use ChatGPT to draft better emails, and it means helping engineering integrate AI into design validation workflows. Build training materials, run workshops, provide one-on-one support. Meet people where they are - some will be excited, some will be skeptical, some will have never used AI at all. Your job is to get every group moving forward.
3. Workflow Analysis: Spend time with every department understanding how they work today. Identify opportunities at every level - from simple wins like better prompting for everyday communication, to bigger lifts like automating repetitive data entry or report generation. Prioritize quick wins that build trust and momentum.
4. Adoption Tracking: Measure whether AI tools are actually being used after rollout. Track adoption rates, gather feedback, iterate. A tool nobody uses is a failed deployment, regardless of how good the technology is.
5. Integration Support: Work with IT and software developers to integrate AI tools into existing systems (ERP, SharePoint, Outlook, production systems). Ensure new tools fit into existing workflows rather than creating additional work.
6. Feedback Loop: Be the voice of the end user back to leadership. Surface what's working, what's not, what people actually need, and where the organization isn't ready yet. Help the Director of AI refine the strategy based on ground-level reality.
