Who You Are

You are a sharp, restless strategist who sees around corners and moves with urgency. You possess the analytical horsepower to decode complex markets and the executive presence to act as a true thought partner to the C-suite. With experience in top-tier strategy consulting, M&A, or high-growth Fintech, you are outcomes-obsessed, measuring your success by business KPIs like revenue growth and market share rather than the volume of your deliverables. Crucially, you are an AI Workflow Builder; you operate at the frontier of how AI is applied to strategy work, designing systems that multiply your team's output and coaching peers to raise their game. What You'll Do

  • Serve as the CEO's Strategy Partner: Translate the CEO's vision into measurable outcomes. You will identify which business functions need a strategy refresh—from investor distribution to GTM—and lead the full development lifecycle from research to cross-functional alignment.
  • Lead M&A and Corporate Development: Act as the connective tissue for every deal. You will maintain DealMaker's investment thesis, build an active pipeline of acquisition targets, and project-manage the execution of due diligence and integration in close partnership with the CEO.
  • Build Strategic Institutional Partnerships: Identify and close high-priority platform deals with tier-one financial institutions and consumer investment platforms to step-change DealMaker's investor reach and category leadership.
  • Own Competitive Intelligence & Positioning: Build the systems to track competitor moves, regulatory shifts, and technology trends. You'll turn this intelligence into monthly briefs that directly inform pricing, product roadmap, and sales strategy.
  • Design AI-Powered Workflows: Design and implement AI-driven processes that scale the strategy function. You won't just use these tools for yourself; you will build the "operating system" for how the Office of the CEO uses AI to synthesize data and reach decisions faster.
  • Drive Executive Leverage: Prepare the CEO for high-stakes external conversations and board-level decisions by producing concise, decision-ready strategic briefs backed by hard evidence.

What You Need

  • Proven Track Record: Experience in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting, with clear examples of setting direction and closing complex, high-value deals.
  • M&A Expertise: Hands-on experience evaluating, structuring, or executing acquisitions—you know how to move deals forward in ambiguous conditions.
  • Demonstrated AI Fluency: You must be able to "show the receipts" on how you use AI to accelerate research and synthesis. Experience upskilling teams on AI tools is a major advantage.
  • Exceptional Analytical Rigor: Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to build a defensible point of view from a hypothesis faster than most people can frame the question.
  • Precision Communication: The ability to write and speak with absolute clarity, landing recommendations with a CEO in a way that builds immediate alignment.
